Spa FAQs
What makes a medical massage different from a relaxation massage?
A medical massage—like those offered at European Body Concepts—focuses on therapeutic outcomes, such as pain relief, injury rehabilitation or chronic condition management. It’s often prescribed by a physician and may be insurance-covered. Unlike typical relaxation services, medical massage is performed by staff with advanced training in anatomy and somatic therapy techniques to address deep physical issues.
How often should I get a massage?
This depends on your body, lifestyle and wellness goals. Many people benefit from monthly massages to reduce tension and improve circulation. If you’re managing chronic pain or stress, you may want to come more frequently. Your massage therapist can help create a plan that supports your long-term health and relaxation.
How far in advance should I book my appointment?
To secure your preferred time and provider—especially for weekends or popular treatments—it’s best to book at least a few days in advance. Around holidays or seasonal events, consider booking even earlier. Same-day appointments are accepted if availability allows.
