My story:

I have always had a passion to become a surgeon to promote wellbeing. I wanted to help people look and feel exceptional and ultimately enjoy a better lifestyle.

Getting married at the age of fourteen and having my first son at the age of 16, I could no longer take that journey to become a surgeon. My maternal grandmother, Kyriakoula, was the village holistic healer. I remember having the ladies come over to our house for a variety of beauty and wellness needs. For example, she treated the calluses on their feet. I watched her take half of a lemon, place it over the flame, and rub it on the calluses to remove them. Seeing that work, I decided to become a skin and body care specialist and come to America to start my own business in 1988! I had many people tell me that I would never make it in the Lehigh Valley, and that women would not support you. I asked them why and the answer was “They don’t do that here like European women do, because they don’t know better.” My answer was “Then I will have to teach them!”

When I began this journey, I gave away my services for free in order for women to see what I can do for them. Thirty-six years later, the women are still with me! My specialty is spa services in all aspects of the spa industry. The majority of my clients come to me to change and improve their appearance and well-being. My experience with the tremendous amounts of testing and trials of different skin care products was not my expectation. This forced me in a position to create formulas of my own. My knowledge and experience helped me with this in order to deliver results that truly exceeded even my expectations; results that I would want for my skin as a skin expert, believe me, I have high expectations!

“Irini Koufalis Skin Care” was born February 5, 2004. I have spent countless hours, perfecting the formula with my pharmacist and chemist team, testing the formula’s pure and safe ingredients, making sure they are eco-friendly safe, with no animal testing, and that they are skin friendly, clean, organic, and dermatologist tested and approved. Most importantly, deliver my formula’s results for rosacea, sensitive skin, oily skin, scars, pigment, aging, firming, and more! The spa family clients use our products and are happy with the results. This is what I strive for every day. As I said, I have high expectations! In 2015 QVC contacted me to sell my products on their platform. The decision I made to turn them down was difficult. I wanted to have my products explained and sold by me. Afterall, these are my “babies!” I delivered them!

I wish my grandmother Kyriakoula was with me, I would give her an amazing spa experience using my skincare line and show her how much I have learned from her. She would have loved it!
